November 2015 - PELHAM — It’s become a bit of a holiday tradition.
This Saturday, November 14, Fonthill United Church’s annual Homes for the Holidays tour of holiday décor will return as seven area decorators team up once again with the church and six Pelham home owners to showcase some decoration ideas for the holidays.
“It has become a community event,” said event co-chair Carolyn van der Sluis, noting the event is back for its 12th year. The idea, she said is simple, guests get to tour beautiful homes fully decorated by top-notch local designers.
“It’s really quite exciting,” said van der Sluis, adding the tour is again promising a wide variety of homes and décor styles.
The Log Cabin Gift Shoppe, Cox Home Furniture, Le Village, Vermeer’s Garden Centre, Carolinda’s, Mary Luska Interiors and Rose & Twine Floral Studio are all participating, decorating the homes and the church where a tea room will offer refreshments during the tour.
“A lot of these businesses have a loyal following,” said van der Sluis.
